We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Oak Brook, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and motivating a team to achieve set targets. While experience is a plus, we are open to candidates with a strong foundation in manufacturing principles and a willingness to learn.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of production personnel in achieving daily output goals

Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality control procedures, and safety regulations

Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for continuous improvement

Oversee the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment

Train and develop new team members

Address employee concerns, maintain a positive work environment, and foster teamwork

Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback

Maintain accurate production records and reports

Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., engineering, maintenance)

Troubleshoot basic production issues and escalate complex problems
Qualifications:

0-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role (a plus)

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Manufacturing or related field (preferred)

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to motivate, coach, and provide constructive feedback to a team

Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

Working knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards (a plus)
