We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team in Oak Brook, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to manufacture high-quality parts according to specifications.

Job Description


  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.)

  • Utilize CAM software (optional, but a plus) to translate engineering designs into CNC programs (may involve basic editing)

  • Secure and inspect raw materials

  • Load, position, and secure workpieces in CNC machines

  • Operate machines to perform machining operations based on programs and blueprints

  • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as needed

  • Measure and inspect machined parts for accuracy and quality using precision instruments

  • Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance

  • Troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions and notify maintenance personnel of complex issues

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures


  • 0-5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment (or relevant training/apprenticeship)

  • Strong understanding of machining processes and terminology (e.g., drilling, milling, turning)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

  • Working knowledge of shop math and basic measurement techniques

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
